D&AD. Brief 14. Environmental Poetry.

The D&AD environmental poetry brief asked us to graphically represent one, or more, Shakespeare sonnet in a modern environment. From the 154 sonnets that Shakespeare wrote I represented the 73rd.

The sonnet inspired me to get outside and enjoy my youthfulness. Combining the inspiration that I took from the sonnet with the visual ideas put forward by the sonnet and one of my own inspirations and passions, being out doors mountain biking. Sonnet 73 made me acutely aware of the passing time, because of this I thought it would be fitting to design a diary to document and plan for the future. I documented a journey in the Lake District using photography.
